Treasurer

Roy Hegelstad
Roy grew up in southwestern Norway on a mixed farm, and
became a chef in 1991 before spending a good dozen years pursuing culinary arts. Roy and his wife Carmen have always valued spending time with kids. Together with their two daughters they did lots of hiking, cross-
country skiing, boating, and fishing. The kids also got to be involved in the family’s small catering business and market food stand. Roy still enjoys connecting with kids when there’s
an opportunity to do so.
