Art Camp

We were happy to present this summer art camp with spaces for kids aged 4-12. The goal of this camp was to present a high quality, one of a kind experience for kids who have a particular interest in art and would like a chance to deeply explore that interest. The camp included a combination of art instruction, activities and games, in addition to the community building project of co-creating a public mural.

We worked with artist Joey Nash to conceptualize and manage the mural project along with other enthusiastic supporters and volunteers.The mural is now on the wall of Pete's Pizza that borders on the pocket park. The project was carried out in the week leading up to and during the art camp.
