Theatre Camp

In our July 2022 Theatre Camp the participants collaborated to write the script for the original theater production of ‘Portation’. This time traveling adventure featured ewoks, dragons, robots, Cyber Santa, and Frankenfairy as they moved between the past, present and future to stop the witches from stealing all of the treasure. The kids made their own costumes and set designs with a little help from summer staff and volunteers.

Throughout the week the kids attended theatre workshops with Kiki the Eco Elf, visited the Project X Theatre under the trees, played theatre games, made music and co-wrote a song that they performed for an audience.
